Play Audio

The Play Audio action allows you to include a Text-to-Speech (TTS) or prerecorded audio message within your flow.

The Play Audio action could be used:

  • Following a Menu Tree action to share answers to frequently asked questions (e.g., hours of operation, locations, etc.)

  • With the Record Response action to play back a caller's response and confirm their input

  • Connected to the error path of an applicable action to alert the caller that there was an error and they will be redirected

  • At the end of your flow to conclude the call (e.g., "Thank you for calling and have a great day!")

 

Configure Audio

To configure this action, click Configure Audio to open the Audio Settings.

  • Audio Text (TTS): Use your default Text-to-Speech settings or select your preferred vendor and voice. Then type your message into the text box and click the blue “+” sign.
  • Audio Library: Add new or drag and drop existing audio files from the library.
