Disconnect Reason Codes
The codes below correspond to potential reasons why a call may have disconnected.
DisconnectReasonCode | Disconnect Reason | Disconnect Description |
---|---|---|
17, 600, 486 | Busy | The Called Party’s phone line is occupied and unable to complete the call. |
16, 0, 1000 AND RecordType = 1 | Call Success | The call completed without error. This does not necessarily mean that the calling and called parties were connected. For example, if a given call status is ‘incomplete’ but the disconnect description shows ‘Call Successful’ the calling party hung up before the call connected to the end user. |
21, 603, 1012 OR 16, 0, 1000 AND RecordType = 2 |
User Abandon | Calling Party hung up before being connected to the Called Party or a voicemail system. |
55, 57, 87, 401, 402, 403 | Forbidden | Access prohibited, or authentication required error. IntelePeer doesn’t accept device registrations. |
1, 2, 3, 26, 404 | Not Found | Calling Party is attempting to dial a number that does not exist or is unallocated. |
34,38,41,42,47,58,88,128,130,131,132,135,140, 142,503,19,20,31,129,133,134,136,141,143,144,480 |
Service Unavailable | Error occurs when a server in the call stream is unavailable, due to a resource constraint. This could be in the caller, called party, or IntelePeer network. |
102, 504, 1011, 1024 | Timeout | Error occurs when a server in the call stream fails to respond to a request within a time frame. This could be in the caller, called party, or IntelePeer network. |
Any other code (not listed above) | Other | Represent multiple error codes that don’t often occur. If you are experiencing a large percent of incomplete calls with the Other disconnect reason, please contact customer support (Incomplete calls can be found on the Call Completion Status widget and the reason for the incomplete calls in the Disconnect Reason Widget of the Voice Services dashboard). |
