How to Forward a Number

What is Call Forwarding?

Call Forwarding unconditionally redirects telephone calls to another destination, which may be a mobile telephone, voicemail box or another telephone number where the desired called party is available.

  1. Log into your account via the Customer Portal (

  2. From the left-hand menu, select My Applications and Switched Number Translations.

  3. Select Add New (blue button) in the upper right corner from the Switched Number Translations table.

  4. Follow the prompts in the Number Translations Wizard.

  5. Create a profile name for the forward.

  6. Enter the DID you would like to have forwarded. This must be an active number on your account. You can enter Single Numbers, or Bulk numbers, Forward a whole package or overwrite existing forwards.

  7. Select the translation type. Forward = Auto call forwarding, Failover = Calls will be sent to the number you input only if your trunk is not responding to invites.

  8. Input the desired destination number for the Forward/Failover.

  9. Review and submit the order.

  10. The forward will be in place in 5 to 10 minutes.
